It's Become Increasingly Clear That Romney's Character Can Be Reduced To One Word:

LIAR. That word should be such an albatross around his neck, that even if he could tell a truth, people would say "liar."

Now that I see this character trait, I can just imagine all the bold face lies this man has laid on people, in the maintenance and pursuit of his fortune.

The difference in character of the two contenders is stunning. All Romney is essentially running on is to maintain and increase the privileges of rich white males.

Obama is trying to do what he can open it up to everyone. We can argue about whether he's doing it the right way, or fast enough, or not enough, but like it or not, that's what he represents in the fight.

I don't care what anyone says. I respect the hell out of the President because despite four years of "vetting", he has thus far proved to be what he appears to be: clean, sincere, conscientious guy, in other words, "the real deal."

You can argue all the other the other things, but it's hard to question the man's character.

or so goes the common belief. So the reaction of the average person is likely to be "So Romney's a liar? So what?".

those saying "So What?" Are the same ones saying President Obama said if Congress passed the stimulus, unemployment wouldn't go about 8% (which he really didn't do) and citing to his promise to close GITMO (which he attempted to do).

Politicians are all liars. No one seems to care. Fake though... that's another story, and Romney could not seem more fake. He seems like a gameshow host.

I think now it would be FAKE that would be even more accurate to describe the GOPs 1% poster boy. People accuse the POTUS of living in a bubble, maybe in a way all POTUSs do...but Mitt has ZERO idea what real life is like for the working poor. At least Obama knows what it is like. RMoney lives on a different planet then 99% of us.

I wouldn't trust RMoney to sell me a used car. Even for free.

GWB was callow, Mittens is superficial. Rick Perry is superficial imo, but Mittens takes the King's Cake imo. A true elitist if there ever was one. Total corporate tool.

I like plastic, that very much describes his personality.

For example, I think John Edwards is superficial: what was on the surface didn't necessarily match what was going on below decks. He probably has depth of conviction about some things, but maybe not the things he talks about. (YMMV, of course.)

With Romney, I have seen no evidence that he seriously believes in much of anything.

Other than making money and being seen as a "success" in the eyes of the world, of course.

To be superficial you have to at least show traits of some kind and he only talks about 'trees being the right height'. That even alienates the extraterrestrials among us.

I agree, that is the wrong word.

To me a failed promise is not a lie. Say what you wil Obama tried to do a lot of what he promised. I think he is sincere. Romney is a liar.
