My dark and shameful confession

I miss when Chris Hayes would start his show by saying: "Tonight....We are All In."

Yes, I know it was lame. Yes, I know it was meaningless. I liked it anyway. And I miss it.

Don't judge me....

OK....you can. But try not to judge me too hard.

I bought his book "Twilight of the Elites", never missed a show - and poof, he was gone. The format of 4, 5 smart people talking about the issues of the week is real good.

Now I watch "Up with Steve Kornacki." Never miss a show. Kornacki has resolutely pursued Bridgegate to the point where Chris Christie stopped appearing on "Morning Joe," praise Allah! For me, that's Woodward/Bernstein quality shit! It's like thwarting the anti-Christ in a Steven King novel!

By the time we get to Chris and Rachel each evening, I'm done listening to opinion. I already have one.

I can only in all honesty stutter: 'Well, uh...'

Even if I've done nothing even vaguely illegal or morally wrong.

Vaya con dios, hijo! You're good to go. I think. Anything else, well...
