(8,879 posts)ads that make him look reasonable. It's heart breaking not to see a strong barrett response. I'm standing behind Tom Barrett, but his campaign from my vantage is weak-sauce.

(2,354 posts)comes from one poll conducted by somebody at Marquette University.
It was Page ONE coverage in the largest circulation Milwaukee paper, which
came out soon afterwards with an endorsement for Snotty Scotty. (Even though
they had promised some months ago, that they weren't going to endorse anyone
in the recall.)
But that one poll also had some serious sampling errors. They simply asked
more self-identified Republicans than Dems or Independents, who they favored.
It still looks very close, and also very hard to read. Lots of money being spent on
TV ads (and buying newspaper endorsements, too, maybe) but it's not like there
were there that many "undecided's" that are going to be swayed. It's going to come
down to which party is going to get their voters out to the polls to actually cast a
ballot.
