The Donald doesnít like the F-35.

According to a story in the Air Force Times, Donald Trump, the billionaire businessman and Republican presidential hopeful, questioned the need for the stealth jet fighter on a conservative radio talk show Oct. 22.

ďWhen they say that {the F-35} cannot perform as well as the planes we already have, what are {we} doing, and spending so much more money?Ē Trump said on the Hugh Hewitt radio show, according to the Times.

The host asked Trump his thoughts on the fifth-generation fighter and the fact that itís $160 billion over budget. Trump responded that he didnít like what he had been hearing in security briefings.

2. I have (want) to believe these briefings are being given to him by his own people???

But if he stays on top for much longer, he (and Crazyman Carson) will probably get SS protection which makes me a bit sick...

5. Because SS protection (to me) exudes a certain authenticity that these dopes don't deserve.

4. Because he knows so little...

...and because he never had to learn the modern Republican practice of bowing to someone else's money, he can occasionally speak truths. There's no reason to suspect, however, that he won't flip-flop whenever he likes. The defense contractors who suck millions of dollars for nonexistent or useless product are much more his people than we are.

I know who he would listen to if he were ever elected. Fortunately, he's he not really running for president.
