Words and phrases that should let people know that many corporations are creatures with out a country or national allegiance.

And it's not just 'American' companies.

SOLDIERS DIED. Sailors, Airmen/women and Marines. not "people". less than one percent of our country sees fit to serve. .002% are currently in uniform.

the citizens united decision is incredibly stupid, but this little graphic is pushing it pretty hard.

I see fathers & mothers in those coffins...not just the soldier 'role.'

Corporations do not risk their life for our country the way that people do.

Our troops are being killed and maimed for...what?

What exactly are we being protected from that necessitates our troops dying and being maimed?

We are in no danger from being attacked by Afghanistan. We were in no danger of being attacked by Iraq.

The purpose of our military is NOT to protect corporate profits.

Or maybe it is...now. Hell, I don't know. Some days I feel as though I've slipped into the Mirror Universe.

so much of which is to defend their interests and further their expansion and dominance.

Taxpayers were not asked-- Do you want to overthrow the democratically elected government of Guatemala to protect the United Fruit Company plantations?

We subsidize big oil with tax breaks and then by paying for giant wars to keep their supply sources compliant.

We weren't asked if we'd prefer to give the giant subsidies of tax breaks and military budgets to alternative energy. We're told it is too expensive by those who don't factor in the cost of the wars that support fossil fuels.
