(2,902 posts)Lazy thugs in blue are the problem:
"Law enforcement is able to arrest or identify a likely perpetrator for only 19% of property crimes and 47% of violent crimes."
Here in Seattle, you can't even usually get the cops to come out to investigate car break-ins. We have cameras pointed at our parking lot, but even with evidence and a constant problem, that isn't enough to get them to even try to find the person responsible.

(1,325 posts)Send these three war criminal assholes to Honduras straight away for some enhanced interrogation. After a couple of months or so, toss them into Guantanamo and let them rot. Thirsty boys, how about some water-boarding to slake that itch? Or the Hague if you prefer.

By the way, I also recommend Ludlum's "The Holccroft Covenant"
The movie, though panned by critics, is one of my favorites
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Ludlum
"The world in his writings is one where global corporations, shadowy military forces and government organizations all conspire to preserve (if it is good) or undermine (if it is evil) the status quo. Ludlum's novels were often inspired by Conspiracy theory - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, both historical and contemporary. He wrote that The Matarese Circle was inspired by rumors about the Trilateral Commission, and it was published only a few years after the commission was founded. His depictions of terrorism in books such as The Holcroft Covenant and The Matarese Circle reflected the theory that terrorists, rather than being merely isolated bands of ideologically motivated extremists, are actually pawns of governments or private organizations who are using them to facilitate the establishment of authoritarian rule."
