in Alabama.

A California pizza is a lot like a thin crust New York pizza, but I am not sure they allow California pizzas in New York.

Whatever you decide, do not order a Philly Cheese Steak Pizza with swiss cheese!

Be the change you want to be.

How are you doing? How was your weekend? I had a super good one. Stayed home enjoyed some work around the house (pulling weeds - kinda gross but good exercise). Watched lots of Muhammed Ali tribute stuff, watched the Warriors - Cavs game this evening.

Hope you enjoy a good week!

...let me just offer my opinion on what I think is behind all of the current acrimony that plagues our political discourse.

Picture yourself in a dream. But this particular dream is a nightmare, because you are hanging onto the edge of a great cliff and the fall will surely kill you. There are three people there with you. One of them is a gibbering madman who is just eager to stomp on your hands so he can enjoy watching you plummet to your death. One is a well meaning, but slightly out of touch lady who is content to root for you to 'hang in there '. And the other person is this kindly old Jewish guy who is busy telling you to hold on long enough so he can get his rope tied around your waist so he can pull you back up.

I know, it may seem like a silly analogy, but let me put it another way. For many of us in the Democratic party, a candidate like Bernie Sanders comes along only once in a generation. Not since the days of John Kennedy has this party put forth such a true 'voice of the people' person as their chosen leader - a true Titan of the working poor and middle class. At least, they could. But for many of us out here, we are watching that once in a generation chance slip ever so maddeningly away...and listening to people tell us that we need to just put on our increasingly heavy backpacks, and get back in line,...and keep marching, dammit!

I think some of us are getting a little on edge as we see this fleeting chance at redemption for our country slowly being marginalized, and inevitably blotted out of the worn and rotten tapestry that is our current political landscape.

That's just my two cents.......adjusted for current inflation and all.

I'm not waiting as a Democrat for that once in a lifetime business. I was kid when we had JFK.

My bad for forgetting another fleeting dream.

...and I, too, was a child during the JFK years...just talking from an 'in retrospect' point of view.

I can't believe we were betrayed by people who claim to be Democrats. It's their fault this one chance is slipping away and I will never forgive them. Ever.

another election; it's a watershed moment, a last gasp of sanity, etc. For some of us, it's going to be impossible to be very polite when we believe we are seeing the death of democracy and/or the actual human race. In such dire scenarios there's really no place for civility -- it's like asking a fireman to not be rough as he snatches your kid out of the fire.
