Huff Post: Is Trump’s Campaign Just Another Conservative Con?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/eric-boehlert/is-trumps-campaign-just-a_b_10632444.html

“Conservatism is a racket for a lot of people to get very, very rich. With no thought of winning elections.” MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, 2012.

Stunned reporters this week have been unrelenting in depicting Donald Trump’s campaign as one whose wheels have not only come loose, but whose doors and windows have also flown off the hinges.

---SNIP---

Just as importantly, why is Trump’s campaign pouring so much money into paying Trump’s own companies for goods and services?

---SNIP---

Do the two red flags of Trump’s seeming unwillingness to commit resources to genuinely compete for the White House, combined with his desire to fill his companies’ own coffers, suggest that his campaign is actually some sort of large-scale scam or con? And if it is, is that how the press should cover his campaign and drop the assumption that the Trump run represents a traditional GOP march toward the White House?

May need to see if that really happened or not. But he for sure is paying himself premium prices for his and his family's services and the use of his buildings.

A quick search of major sources did not find any stories that Donald Trump had cancelled his loans to his campaign. Do you have a source, alfie? Thanks, in advance.

9. Political donations are tax deductible So he makes a donation to himself and gets a $50M tax break

When Trump says he understands taxes better than anybody he's talking about tax avoidance

Which may be what his whole campaign has been about from the beginning Reducing tax exposure and forcing the RNC into kicking in to his Trump TV promotion

don't have to reveal their names So campaign cash could be drug cartel cash as far as anyone knows

And they never will know because that question can't even be asked

The Sinaloa Cartels must be screaming with frustration and envy or celebrating

As far as Trump goes, he's not an idiot He's running a long con He's forcing the RNC to pay for his self promotion So win or lose Trump wins

That has been his business plan since he graduated from Wharton and his dad gave him $1 M in seed money and a massive rollidex of contacts who owed the Trump's favours

In a long con the mark has to know he's been taken but can't do anything about it Just watch the Sting with Paul Newman and Robert Redford I'm sure Trump has watched that movie hundreds of times over the years
