Can someone explain to me why criminal charges have not been brought up

Last edited Fri Oct 14, 2016, 11:12 AM - Edit history (1)

against Trump and the claims of sexual assault against a 13 year old girl? That is the one thing that makes me question this.

EDIT: I was thinking about what would happen if they brought up rape charges now and I think his followers would go crazy and it would be dangerous. Maybe they want to wait until after the civil case, (and the election) to make sure the criminal case is very solid. They might be afraid that if they charged him now that violent protests would erupt. These Trump followers are people hanging by a thread with a lot of violence in them and they all have guns.

6. Then why is the Clinton campaign not making the charge?

Its because its BS and they don't want to get caught up in that. The suit will disappear after the election.

8. Handled "just fine by the actual attorney"?

I am glad he is not mine. He has filed this suit three times now. The first two were dismissed. Each time he adds another anonymous witness. But that is "just fine". Ok... And you do know, don't you, that this lawsuit is also against Jeffery Epstein. In two months from now when the election is over we will see what this "fine" attorney does.

11. It said she filed the first suit on her own and it was thrown out on a technicality

Most likely because she didn't have a lawyer. I did not hear of it being thrown out again

12. From a law blog:

This is actually the third time the plaintiff has filed the lawsuit, and there are some definite legal complications. From our June article about the lawsuit:

There are also some obvious legal hurdles based merely on the claims in the suit that would also make this case quite difficult.

For one, the statute of limitations on many of the claims including sexual misconduct, assault and battery has run up. Other than an affidavit by another unidentified woman who claims to have witnessed the encounters, there appears to be no other evidence concerning what happened. This woman does not indicate that she ever went to police. In addition, no other evidence like DNA or taped conversations has surfaced.

The plaintiff in this case has additionally claimed that she was “defamed” after Trump’s attorney said her allegations were “categorically false” following her first lawsuit in California. At this point, the real identity of whoever is behind these lawsuits has yet to surface. It would be hard to prove that an anonymous woman suffered damage to her reputation if no one knows who she is.

13. Thanks for that. There is one thing that she says in her claim that makes me question

and that is that Trump punched her repeatedly and tied her up.

Most of the women who have come forward have very similar stories. I've never heard of him beating anyone.

But then again he was supposedly with Epstein, who is a monster so....whatever that is worth.

Nothing to gain that they can't get from rallying behind the multitude of other accusers

10. Because this lawsuit is meritless and it's not going to amount to anything.

Sorry. I know that's not what anyone wants to hear.

Norm Lubow, the former Jerry Springer Show producer that's behind these lawsuits, well, let's just say he's a bit shady.
