Will we ever find out the extent of the Russian hacks?

Because I'll tell you what, after January 20th we'll NEVER know.

I am having a very difficult time respecting this transfer from Obama to the Orange fascist.
Are all of our Democratic leaders just going to go quietly into the night?
Obama said that the office itself will limit the Orange Anus. I find zero comfort in those words considering Repubs have all branches under their control and his cabinet is filling with enough Corporatists to make Mussolini proud.

Is anyone else feeling this helplessness and lack of leadership in our Party?

1. Will we ever find out the extent of the Russian hacks?

Not after the tRump administration starts post January.

This current Obama Administration seems skitterish on releasing any info on what you mention, and you KNOW that in 2017, we won't hear jack about anything concerning possible Russian hacking into our elections, and voting rights violations/disenfranchisement as it relates to Democratic voters. I expect the GOP to maybe go back into some type of re-investigation of Hillary so tRump/them can get away with all of their shenanigans and lawless acts the next several years. Also, let's not forget that we have a so-called Liberal Media whose complicit in all of this. 99% of them in in print/nor television do any fact-checking of thuglicans, plus they want the ratings which = $$$ that a hideous tRump administration WILL be bringing due to all of the disastrous things people will be watching them DO over the next 4 years.

As for the Democrats ...

I don't have a LOT of faith in a majority of them and even if I did, the GOP controls all 3 branches of government. Yes, I know the Dems are still holding onto the filibusterer, but I look for Dems like Joe Manchin of WV to work with and to also to support Thuglicans/tRump to put whoever onto the Supreme Court they/he want on there. Also, for Dems like Manchin to undercut Dems and all of us--even those fools who voted for tRump/them.

You don't know how much I'd LOVE to be proven wrong about all I've said. I HOPE I'm wrong about all I've said, but I had to say it because it's how I'm feeling.

anyone have faith in our elections ever again when there is doubt as to what another country did to our last one?
There are some things that should NEVER be classified under any circumstances.

6. The NSA needs to act. So does the CIA. They have access to everything they need to solve

this. And the CIA ought to be all over it because when Trump is sworn in he will invade Iran to prop up oil prices for Putin and the Koch Brothers and then Iran will dump the facts about Hostage for Votes and then Papa Bush will probably have a stroke and die from the shame---and the CIA loves Papa Bush. So, if they won't do it for their country, at least do it for their former director.

I never thought I would say anyone was scarier than Reagan and W., but Trump is. If he found out he had cancer, he would probably push the red button and cause a nuclear war just to make sure the rest of us would not outlive him. He is not sane.

8. It's extremely unlikely the Russians hacked the voting machines

Experts are pretty much saying that's impossible. You would have to physically tamper with many devices in countless precincts. This is not something you can do from a basement in Moscow.

What they likely did do is hack the DNC and then feed those emails to Wikileaks in some manner. They may have also tried to influence the election through fake news.

Why isn't the government making a big deal about it. Probably because we've been doing the same thing to other countries for years. And the CIA and NSA don't want to open a can of worms.

I mentioned in another post that this was a tactic used by Benjamin Franklin. He was known to exaggerate the news before and during the Revolution. Afterwards he even wrote a completely fake newspaper article and sent it to Britain in order to influence public opinion.

This InfoOps or PsyOps is nothing new.

Heck, the British could argue Obama tried to influence the Brexit vote when he was in the UK and threatened the trade status should the country approve Brexit. Many members of parliament and the British media were angry at Obama and accused him of interference.
