The root of ALL of our problems starts with:

money in politics. We should vow to never vote for another politician until they fix the corruption and stop taking money.

Can we have public funded elections and no more 2 f-Ing year campaigns? Can we stop going after donations immediately after an election? Politicians shouldn't be fundraising, they should be working for us who already pay them a huge wage.

How do we get this done? It's the root before anything can get better!!!!

Out of those 2 words... money and politics... I would think the root problem would be "politics".

The Populist movement in this year's election stems from a growing frustration by supporters of both Parties. Maybe Trump will help with this because after seeing his cabinet nominations it cannot but help to increase the demand for politicians who haven't been bought off by the Plutocrats and corporations.

I think he kind of showed that money doesn't always buy votes. I think Hillary spent more than twice as much as Don for each vote they received.

A failing of human beings is believing what tends to get repeated, and what they are exposed to.

Then it gets even more complicated - into belief systems rather than critical thinking etc.

No easy answers.
