Don't expect the Senate will save health care.

They will pass their own more moderate but still horrible heath bill.
And then much of the House bill will be brought back in reconciliation.

A victory in repealing O-Care is more important to them than the consequences of the law they pass.
Health care is going into the toilet in this country.

I wouldn't be surprised if they just pass it as is. After all, it will be a windfall for every Republican there, just free money and the bonus of being able to kill a whole bunch of people, which just makes them feel warm and happy.

why his goal in life is to kill people.

He may dress it up all he wants to, but ultimately, his goal is to cause death to many, many people.

How twisted must his kids be at this point?

11. His goal in life is to get rid of what he considers parasites.

The disabled, people who aren't lucky enough to have an opportunity to succeed or who ran into some hard times out of their control, people who "made poor choices" based on their environment or the information they had - you know, normal people who didn't start out on third base because Mommy and Daddy were lucky.

He, like most conservatives, want to live in a manageable, hierarchal and stable community where everyone knows their place and does their job. They truly want a community that's run like a business.

The problem is the difference between a real community and a business - businesses can upscale and downscale without worrying too much about the people who work for them. Labor is pretty much fungible or disposable; a business only employs what that business needs at any point in time, will rent or contract more resources or employees if they need them, and get rid of any excess or expense that the business can't support anymore. Businesses go bankrupt and sell off all their assets. Businesses reorganize to be able to operate in different markets or environments - or to increase profitability.

A community however - a family or a neighborhood doesn't just get transferred to a storage room or a warehouse or gets sent back to the manufacturer if there's a problem or if there becomes too much of a cost to invest in them or to keep their neighborhood "operating" for a profit to the City Leaders and Investors.

People aren't just willing to be sold off or disposed of because they're no longer needed or profitable. Unfortunately, the well off Conservative like Mr. Ryan have pretty much been able to buy their way through life at a reasonable level of disposable comfort - especially while using New-Deal type government or Union supported programs and regulations in the past that enabled them or their parents to take risks and start businesses or go on to school and make that "living in comfort" money. Working hard makes money only when there's an opportunity to make money.

So these children of privilege just can't understand why a family can't just - well, "downsize your life just do without your things because of those kids you had the bad judgment to bring into the world and work your ass off until all your debts are paid off and your credit score gets better", or my favorite "why don't you just move to somewhere where you can get a job that pays for your lifestyle." - like moving to a cheap cost of living state where there's a only a crapload of minimum wage jobs that have no benefits will enable you to be able to not only pay off those moving expenses, but also maintain the health and wellbeing of a family of four - where you couldn't before working a reasonable median wage in a higher cost of living state.

As for poorer Conservatives; they just want to be able to be left alone and still be comfortable. Their world is small and insular. They'll pay the taxes to maintain roads and some infrastructure - for them. They don't want anything to do with anyone they don't know or like, and certainly don't want to have any of their money end up in the pockets of people they don't know (or like) and don't intend to ever know.
Like their more well-off Conservative siblings, they feel the world outside only exists when they turn on their electronic devices, go to the store, or get their mail - maybe they experience it at their jobs, but life is pretty much only now/here to the Conservative. Why should they "invest" in a community of those they think of as lazy slackers around them? Better just to get rid of those parasites.

Ryan doesn't care how many people die, because to him, if he doesn't know them or if they have no direct impact on his personal wellbeing, they're as real as characters on his TV.

8. If I was not going to be with my boyfriend I would

be preparing to be homeless. I would be living in my car. I know that subsidized housing is also going to disappear also. I am on SSDI due to multiple disabilities and Medicare ( can't afford Medicade ) and I am in subsidized housing. A lot of people are in the same situation and worse. At least I do not have kids who will suffer.

9. Maybe so...I hope we can stop it...but elections have consequences...those who were so concerned

with emails that they voted for a gorilla, stein, Trump/libertarian or stayed home will have to live with the consequences of their actions (maybe their privilege will save them but not looking like it)...and the blood on their hands that will never wash off. If Kennedy retires in the summer as is rumored, we are done in terms of the courts...so much for the revolution. I have always thought that Stein and that clueless crew including Nader who are consumed with hatred for Democrats but not inexplicably Republicans...cost us progress in terms of policy in prior years, but this time...between the loss of health care and the pending 6/4 right wing SCOTUS majority...their actions have caused a catastrophe that will take years for recovery...if it ever happens.
