Cinco de Mayo makes me look at things differently.

When eating a taco, burrito, or fajita (like tonight) I have to turn my head to the side.

It's like the Batman bad guy lair of food.

1. My favorite local burrito is fork-only!

 

Of course, that's because it's wet as hell and is covered with cheese and sauce, but you'll have that!

And still fits into a healthy diet, which STILL blows my mind.

3. It's my brother Phil's birthday, so I always have a convenient excuse to wander down for Mexcellent

Mission District food.

La Taqueria on San Francisco's Mission Street - Judged by Nate Silver as the best burrito in the USA. Footsteps from my front door, I'm going down for one of those award-winning burritos right now.
