SNIP..............

There are lots of reasons that couples might split: finances, career choices, family matters.

And now, the president.

New information from Wakefield Research found that one in 10 couples (married or unmarried) ended their relatively recent relationships over disagreements about President Trump. Young people are statistically even more susceptible to this trend, splitting 22 percent of the time.

"Passionately opposing points of views are not only driving wedges between strangers and even friends, but we are now seeing evidence that this dissent is having a detrimental impact on Americans' marriages and relationships," according to Wakefield.

My husband are braced for our third potential economic downturn together. It's not really romantic, but we've gained a sort of grim camaraderie from our lives shared in resistance.

So we are to believe 10% of the couples in the U.S. have broken up? That would be 10s of millions of people. No, that has not happened. It is not surprising that the link had no information whatsoever about this "study". Do people believe everything and anything on twitter?

Maybe what they're unable to cogently articulate is that of couples, married or not, in a recent survey, one in ten gave differences over tRump as the reason for the break-up.

Maybe. Or maybe not.

No one needs to put up with right-wing propaganda all day long. "Good riddance" is what I say to anyone who just dumped a Trump supporter.
