(115,269 posts)in the Watergate case, when the grand jury indicted a bunch of Nixon WH officials for obstruction of justice, perjury, etc., and also named Nixon himself as an unindicted co-conspirator.

(7,908 posts)I dont remember ever reading that Nixon was named an unindicted co-conspirator in any criminal proceedings. He should have been, make no mistake, but AFAIK he never was.

(7,908 posts)Tricky Dick or who pooh-pooh the utter seriousness of his many offenses against the Constitution. The fact that he presided over the creation of the EPA and the opening to China does little in my opinion to mitigate his guilt for the serious breach he and his "men" (too numerous to name) caused.
