And stood at his grave for a bit. I doubt I'd be that reserved at Reagan's though. Nixon was a troubled troubled man - sad really and yes I know he was pretty evil too.

Some start out private but eventually move over to public. But in some states, the state government takes over as opposed to federal. In other cases a foundation runs things, some go to the NPS system, Historical Societies, etc.

But if you ask me, 45 has already built his. Mar-a-Lago. Large companies often have their own "museums".
