I can't believe I am saying this, but even W knew how to act around world leaders

I hate W with a passion - for yrs just the sight of his stupid smirking face induced a rage and uncontrollable twitching in my slapping hand.

Yes, he did a shit ton of stuff- but I honestly never actually worried that he would shove another foreign leader, slam our allies to their faces, or divulge security secrets to our adversaries.

I just can't get over what I am seeing - what an utter buffoon. My cat has better manners and he cleans his ass while we are eating dinner.

Plus you know starting the war in Iraq for no decent reason was horrific.

He did for the most part know not to act like a bully in those trips.

even though based on lies. There are legitimate arguments to be made on waging war, bombings, use of drones etc.

But his inability to have any impulse control is something I have not seen before.

I do recall one occasion when W shoved his way past Bill Clinton.

But I think he was at least self-controlled enough not to do that to a Prime Minister at a NATO meeting. And sometimes he seemed kind of drunk. I thought he was an embarrassing representative for the US -- but Trump is downright horrifying.

nowhere else. Also let's not forget "free speech zones", being an utter assholes to any reporter who had the nads to question him, making it up as you go when it came to policy because he was a fucking dimwit who communicated in word salad, etc, etc. If the bar hadn't been lowered so much for Junior. There would be no Donny Tiny Hands in the White House.

I guess I'll give you that at least he called adversaries "evil" but not allies.

I thought W was as bottom barrel as we could get...with his lies, war mongering, lack of intelligence, love of shiny objects and flight suits, and random acts of wtf in public.

So no, I'm not saying bring back W. What I am saying is that for the most part he knew how to act when around other people. I never heard reports of world leaders having to be told that he could only pay attention for 4 mins of speech at a time...that is just incredible. Like I have seen before, he isn't visiting so much as being babysat.

But I do note that his embarrassing public behavior, cringe-inducing as it often was, wasn't as industrial-strength embarrassing and potentially destructive as Dolt 45's.
