In his statement, he says he understands the gravity of the offense and takes full responsibility for his actions. He went on to state that he expects more of himself than his actions in this matter.

I believe his explanation about experiencing an unexpected reaction to a combination of prescription medications. He was found asleep at the wheel of his car, stationary in an intersection, with its engine running.

He had a lumbar fusion six weeks ago. The one time I remember getting 1mg of morphine, I was totally loopy. If I was driving I totally could have done this.

A combination of an opiod, plus it being 3 am and yes it's entirely possible that he could have had that response.

It still doesn't excuse driving after taking a drug like that. I didn't drive for a full day after taking even vicodin. Trying to drive on harder drugs like morphine or it's stronger derivatives, is just stupid, especially when you have functionally infinite money.

At one point mentioning that he couldn't even play with his kids because of the pain.
