When will someone in Congress start making noise about Trump's organized crime connections?

That part of it would be easier for the public to understand, especially the less educated, and still have the Russian connection.

The problem with playing the Russian government angle by itself is it could be spun as jumping the gun on diplomacy.

Obviously, asking for help to change the outcome of the election is worse than that, but low information voters don't tend to listen or read beyond the headline or tweet.

Being mobbed up is tougher to talk your way out of.

I'd bet a lot of evidence has been developed but is not publicly available. There were just some arrests of Russian criminals in NY. Whether these guys are tangled up in a larger web remains to be seen, but Congress will not get into this while the investigations are still in process.

and pull.

I've read the excuse that it will mess up other "bigger" investigations, but it's hard to imagine what's bigger than getting a corrupt, incompetent, mentally unstable person out of the presidency.

No more secret foreign deals.
He hasn't even staffed half his govt yet.

Russia should immediately be OUT of any further US policy decisions.
Ban Russia & Trump from any more damage.

I see he's speaking on tv now. Defending his calling Comey a liar.

Trump SHOULD shut up with that & just announce his resignation.

Get out of our WHouse.

He's talking infrastrcture!??

He & the complicit need to be stripped of power asap. The entire US govt is in jeopardy & the fear is that this was the goal all along.

Completely destabilize the US govt to the point of collapse.

Trump & the Repubs on board will not give in with their goal so close.

I bvelieve there is a clause that gives our military powers to intervene when the US is under attack, say from NK or elsewhere, but at that point we become a military state.
They protect the country above all else. Unless..?

We've never been down this road with so much at stake.

since their dictates to policy makers lead to wars and could even lead to nuclear war with Russia and/or China.

The intelligence agencies are unlikely to come to such a conclusion since they are run by and for Wall Street.

it could be that the screws are tightening to make him comply with the DC foreign policy consensus and if he does he will be allowed to stay on.

Too many details on the mob stuff would be the point of no return--at least with voters if not those who actually call the shots.

If that's what's going on, it's not out of concern for Trump the man, but the damage his impeachment or resignation would do to the Republican Party. That would make the only two presidents to flee office under a cloud Republicans.

They already have the distinction of having the two worst presidents since at least before the Civil War if not our entire history.

If the Republicans are not a viable second party, Democrats would own a lot of bipartisan policies that they currently blame on Republican pressure.

This is of a more important note and as you question, I too wonder why more is not being said in the news?

20 members singing? Come on...they will not cover for Dump! I imagine they may even create some evidence? lol!

I am not sure what the statue of limitation for specific crimes in NY are...so we will see.

Also, another thought is that the Russian mob had them arrested, to remove the competition and they can move in.
