his continued support of easing sanctions on Russia while being investigated for his ties make one think that he is trying to protect himself from Putin. Why would he not come down on Russia to at least appear to have no allegiance to Putin and get some PR to fight back with?

I personally think that he was working with Putin way back in 08 with all of the birther crap and they have all kinds of kompromat on him. He is so corrupt and perverted I would be shocked if Putin didn't have massive dirt on him. I also believe he and Jared owe a lot of money to Putin and his oligarchs.
