Majority Think Immigration Strengthens the U.S.

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds 55% of respondents say they’re comfortable with the United States becoming more diverse and tolerant of different lifestyles, gender roles, languages, cultures and experiences.

In addition, 64% believe immigration strengthens the country.

Instead, all I hear right now is the xenophobes and their brays of triumph. News readers have appropriately furrowed brows, but the shows don't seem to be able to locate anyone who will speak up for what the majority of Americans think. It's an odd phenomenon.

Republicans don't give a shit about what the majority of people want or think. The only "majority" they care for is the one measured in dollars.
