1. also asked hotels etc to waive pet policies....
...but PS..I'm impressed with his Spanish!

so no way of knowing if it is any good or not!
Glad about the pets, though. They are family members, and I could no more leave one of my doggies behind than I could my husband! I can see why a lot of people would choose to stay behind with their pets rather than go to a shelter that might not accept them. |

5. A DUer posted elsewhere that post Katrina, a law was passed
that requires hotels to allow pets during emergencies. This was done because so many people refused to evacuate without their pets.

3. Not a Scott fan but he's on top of it
I'm in a car headed out of FL with elderly Mom and my sis. Was able to get gas using the gas buddy app Scott recommended...worked great! Traffic on 95 has been moving, not a problem...
