These demonstrations of what it really means to be an American have brought me almost to tears today.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall wherever 45 is when he figures out that so many disagree with him. I'd love to ask him, "How's that boycott the NFL thing going for you?"

Do they stick with him and his authoritarian edicts, or do they side with their team's right to protest? I hope they know that this is about protesting injustice, not the flag!

Authoritarian Trumpanzees are dumber than a box of rocks. They'll follow Racket Man off a 500-foot cliff, jumping to their deaths, before they'll admit they'd been conned by a career criminal who never was held accountable for his crimes against humanity.

I haven't looked at many photos but they're pretty scarce in the ones I've seen.

Meanwhile I'm seeing lots of RW/"centrist" types I know on FB getting outraged and declaring themselves "done" with this team or that team, or the whole NFL, often accompanied by militaristic glurge. Who'd have thought Trump's ineptitude could wreck the NFL?

Maybe they are not ready to actually take a knee yet. I hope as time continues they get over their fear and stand with their fellow Americans.

Earlier several white players stood in solidarity with their black teammates, but Trumpists claimed it was a counter-protest. The black players are risking everything - their white teammates need to unambiguously show their support.

Why even start this crap dotart at a campaign rally for a man named Strange.

ameriKKKans want to have a potus who has disrespected POC and encouraged violence against POC, by police and citizenry. They can boo all they please. An american has a right to protest, peacefully, injustice in any manner available and at anytime. The dullards who booed are silly, hateful people who have disrespected the flag, country and decent people by voting for and siding with a racist, sexist very stupid individual who calls himself potus....I wear a button whenever I'm out now, "he's not my president", given to me by a friend. I mean it, this POS is not my president in any respect.....have gotten some stares and I stare right back...fuck them , the Philli Penguins and NASCAR owners, they are part of the 66million+. The flag is a piece of colored cloth that represents a country...the deaths through outright murder of men, women and children of color represents injustice....which do I choose to understand as the important point here...flag or lives killed by racist pigs? Knees down in protest of murder and injustice or 66million+ idiots booing? No contest. I fly my flag upside down now in protest of the disrespect this country has shown to vets and decent people that care in having to put up with this asinine racist bullshit...this country is in distress....BIGTIME.
