Underwriting Purchase of Meredith Corp., Koch Extremists Now Have Huge New Propaganda Outlet

Despite protestations to the contrary by Meredith Corp., whoever has the gold makes the rules. Political extremists have gone far in chipping away at the fourth estate, with the consolidation and corporatization of media, where profits rule. As anyone who knows anything about propaganda understands, when people hear something often enough, they begin to believe it, even when it has no basis in fact. We are also looking at an upcoming monopoly by Sinclair Media, another purveyor of extremist propaganda, as well as the end of Net neutrality. This, along with unlimited dark money in elections, extreme gerrymandering, voter suppression, hacked voting machines, and a militarized police force--the kleptocracy is becoming a very real and very ugly reality in what used to be an inspiring democracy. Too many Americans have been anesthetized and are dozing.
