Texas pool party chaos: Police officer resignsThis discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Purveyor (a host of the Latest Breaking News forum). The actions of Eric Casebolt, the police corporal shown in a video responding to reports of fighting at a pool party in McKinney, Texas, were "indefensible," the city's police chief said in a news conference Tuesday announcing the corporal's resignation. "Our policies, our training, our practice, do not support his actions," Police Chief Greg Conley said. "He came into the call out of control, and as the video shows, was out of control during the incident." 1. Uhm, considering Casebolt, was a trainer, I beg to differ.

8. I'm surprised he didn't explode with irony when he made that statement, like Mr. Creosote
from Monty Python's Meaning of Life.
"Our policies, our training, our practice, do not support his actions" HE WAS ONE OF YOUR TRAINERS, YOU ASSHAT! By DEFINITION his actions are your training. |

5. Absolutely ... and good riddance ...
But two thoughts:
1) When does the GoFundMe account open ... though I'd imagine, the rah, rah L/E gang's money is probably getting kind of low. 2) I wonder if there is a support group for these (former) cops that get drummed out of L/E jobs for doing this stuff ... I mean other than the kkk and/or white supremacist militia-type groups? You just know they cannot see themselves as having done anything wrong ... "it was those Blacks (and race guilty whites) that forced me out of my job!" |

11. Not a SUPPORT GROUP per se, but a job. He'll be the Fox News "contributor" for police matters
before the end of the week.
The BAD news: This thug will move from a $40K/yr job where he has to "run around in the sun wearing 30pounds of equipment" to a $200K/yr job where he has to run around a flat screen TV on the set of the SEAN HANNITY show wearing a suit, and reading talking points written by Frank Luntz. The GOOD news: They've only budgeted for ONE corrupt cop on Fox, so Mark Furhman will now have to go back to making a living by selling mail-order autographed photos to wingnuts for $20 a pop. |

6. Tuck & roll
Anyone catch that tuck & roll at the beginning of the video? I literally laughed out loud . Looked like a move from Paul Blart mall cop. I don't know if that cop was hopped up on adrenaline, red bull or drugs, but he was running around like a a rat on meth. You could even see the other older cops have to calm him down because he was being such a maniac. Also, what's up with cops constantly yelling profanities at the public whenever they feel like it?? What other public agencies allow such behavior? Not very professional & does not cultivate good public relations.
