Donald Trump: 'I'm never getting out'

Source: CNN

Washington (CNN)Republican front-runner Donald Trump has a message for his naysayers: "I'm never getting out."
...
Trump also brushed off the idea that the Republican mainstream could find a way to take him out of contention late in the game if his poll numbers don't start to ebb on their own.

"I just think it's very hard, and maybe I'm naïve to say this, but if I go around and win Iowa and win New Hampshire and win South Carolina and just keep winning, I don't see how they could do much," Trump said. "There'd be a revolution in the Republican Party if that (winning streak) happened."

The Donald's fascist right wing populism has some legs because when he tells low paid workers they are being screwed by globalization and bad trade deals, well, he's right. Even a stopped clock is correct twice a day.

since the establishment goons don't like him.

And while they won't support any Democrat, they will either stay home or sabotage the campaign. A Wall Street-friendly HRC is WAY more preferable to a delusional, probably demented, neo-fascist.

for choice. That means 60%+ oppose or are indifferent to him at best. And we are talking about the the GOP primaries, voted in by the 38%+/- who self-identify as conservatives. So let's be generous and say he wins the nomination with 51% of the vote. That means he actually is supported by 19%-20% of the people who will actually vote in the general election. Even if you double that support, he is way short of what he needs to win.

There is a hard core crazy element in this country, but they are still a small minority of the voting public.

Also, once DT starts debating real candidates, he is in trouble. Any Dem contender will route him. He would find it impossible to debate HRC without coming of as the misogynistic asshole he is, and Sanders would crush him intellectually. Once you get to the presidential debates, vague answers and sweeping generalizations no longer play well.

Now, his supporters are going to cause problems, since they are completely unhinged from reality like their candidate. They will not take his losing well. But anything they do will alienate them further from the saner portion of the populous, so they are simply going to implode into irrelevancy.

Intellect and knowledge don't seem to win elections.

My SIL voted for W over Kerry because she felt he "looked" more presidential. And she's no dummy. People are swayed by how the candidate makes them feel, not just by what they say.

he may stay in any way he can. He may ask to be a write-in for the Repiggie vote. He may do just about anything.

Either way, he is out to wreck this election. Don't crow too soon. He may damage our side, too.

He is leading in the primaries, but not in the general election polls. He loses against HRC, Sanders and O'Malley, at least in the last polls I saw.

he'll either cite 'business crisis' or 'family crisis' if he drops out voluntarily, and some sort of GOP sabotage if he doesn't leave on his own. Anything other than that, by his own scornful definition he'd be a looooser. A yooge one. And Dog knows, The Donald is not a looooser!

... stay in and look like the noble, committed "leader" ... until something comes to light that gives him the perfect excuse to say these people are ungovernable (or, in Trump-speak: LOSERS) or scandalous or something else .... and then 'for the good of the country blah blah ending candidacy/campaign blah blah" that doesn't tarnish his 'image' so he can pull the same shit next election cycle and in the meantime, grift a lot of money off of his low-information supporters.

When he was still with Ivana, his mistress told a newspaper that the Donald was the best sex she'd ever had. I'd be willing to bet that he urged her to do that. He was so proud of that, he repeated it to anyone who would listen.

I'm sure he has 8 x 10 glossies of all his conquests, and passes them around at cocktail parties.

Not to go too far into the groase & digusting category but I can't imagine him being much of anything in bed. He's too self-involved.
And seeing him naked? Ewww. Brain bleach, please.

He screws over wealthy people as well. He'll convince people who can afford to invest several hundred thousand dollars to be all in for some resort in a swamp and then leave them holding the bag while he spends their money.

what needs to be done to make sure he's on the primary ballot in all the states. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if he's done absolutely nothing in that area, that he thinks that just by announcing he's running, he'll magically be on the ballot. Some one of the Republicans made that elementary mistake in 2012. I honestly can't recall who it was.
