Former senator, astronaut John Glenn hospitalized
Source: CNN.com
(CNN)Former astronaut and US Sen. John Glenn, 95, was hospitalized "more than a week ago," according to Ohio State University spokesman Hank Wilson. "Sen. Glenn is at The James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University (and) was admitted there more than a week ago," Wilson wrote in an email. "I do not know his condition or illness or prognosis. I caution that even though Sen. Glenn is at The James that does not necessarily mean he has cancer." </snip> Read more: http://www.cnn.com/2016/12/07/health/john-glenn-hospitalized/index.html Godspeed and get well, Senator Glenn! ![]()

4. best wishes for a speedy recovery, Senator Glenn
I am so proud to have voted for you many times for my Senator when I lived in Ohio. You are one of my all-time heros, and I am old enough to remember your Project Mercury flight.

6. Wow 2 in the past week
At first I thought this article was talking about what happened with Buzz Aldrin and then saw the age (almost 10 years age difference between them) and then blinked and said wait! This is about John Glenn!
Hope both of these men are able to recover. |

8. I shook his hand in 2004
and talked briefly when he was campaigning for John Kerry in Ohio; a class act and a wonderful gentleman. I wish him only the the very best.

God speed John Glenn!
I actually remember that at 8 years old. Those were exciting days for science and a new manifest destiny. It seems to have taken 30 year off but now it's On To Mars! |
