Trump attacks news media over ObamaCare repeal coverage
Source: MSN/The Hill
President Trump attacked the news media Friday night on Twitter over perceived negative coverage of the House GOP's passage of legislation aimed at repealing and replacing ObamaCare.
"Wow,the Fake News media did everything in its power to make the Republican Healthcare victory look as bad as possible," Trump tweeted. He also predicted the Republican plan would be "far better" than the Affordable Care Act.
In a second tweet, Trump questioned why the news media "rarely reports" that ObamaCare "is on its last legs and that insurance companies are fleeing for their lives?"
"It's dead!" Trump declared, reiterating a longstanding position.

They're a private company so they have no obligation to provide a platform for anyone they don't want to.

(45,769 posts)should the media make it look like YOUR repeal of Obamacare, throwing more than 24 million off health insurance, leaving them to suffer and die, is a good thing?

This is more of the same extremist mentality, and the media in general is falling right in line.

Limbo! Everybody limbo!!!
A victory would be in getting a bill thru both houses and signed, preferably a bill that actually provides health care/ health insurance for MORE people than we have covered now. This...it was another waste of time and money like the previous glut of 'kill Obamacare' votes that never went beyond the House floor.

(871 posts)I have been holding my breath waiting to see how, and how much, coverage of the destruction of America we would hear on ABC,NBC,CBS, oops, and CNN. I was beginning to panic about how infrequently I saw coverage of Russia. Watching Trump, and Republican House members, standing in front of the camera stating one lie after another, and self-congratulating each other ad nauseam.
My wife just told me about the networks refusing to air Trump's campaign ad. I had a tough time swallowing the reason did it......because he called them "fake news". The reason should have been that Trump's lies are so blatant they would be complicit.
I did hear this, not read it, but my wife is not one for being inaccurate. I found the post, and I can happily say they DID say, "... banned the ad because it states things that simply are not true. ...". Unfortunately the focus was not on the blatant lying regarding the Trumpcare Bill they passed.
I know there are many others, besides me, keeping a close eye on the networks, but I feel somewhat relieved after hearing about the ban.
