General election 2017 poll tracker: latest soundings suggest Tory wobble

Source: The Guardian

Weekend polling – and a fresh survey this morning – show the Tory lead over Labour is thinning. A telephone poll by Survation for ITV’s Good Morning Britain, published today, puts that lead at nine points: half what it was a week ago. The Conservatives have mislaid five points to 43%, with Labour perking up five to 34%, and the Lib Dems right where they were on 8%.

Is this an original image? Sandensea, your picture looks horribly like a merger between Trump and May.

I tried merging the two myself... http://www.morphthing.com/image/96837388-gettyimages-543285552-jpg-Donald-Trump?key=0a37f00463122688a02e240e8b51bf45

That photo was taken last year, around the time Cameron stepped down.

Politics aside for a moment, may the injured recover fully and the fallen pass gently. God bless everyone there.

The same happened in France. Everyone was predicating Marine Le Pen could win because of it. I'm hoping the Brits will not let it cloud their judgement. But, then again, they voted for Brexit.

It's also unfair to compare them to the LePen group, they suffer from massive incompetence not driven on pure hate. The problem is compounded by Labour being an absolute mess as well.

ISIL and extremist sympathizers want the most contentious government available to make an enemy of. They were overjoyed with Trump winning. The Tories are the closest to that, although still more reasonable than the US is right now.

If Labour does better than expected it will be because of May's screw ups, not Corbyn's leadership.
