Speaking from 1st hand experience, living & working in south. Fact. Not projection. 
Point being that you are directing your anger at the South in a thread that concerns a Michigan politician in a Northern State, and your failure to offer up any criticism whatsoever concerning said politician who happens to be from a Northern State.
As a lifelong Democrat who was born and has lived most of my life in the south, even with all its problems, I wouldn't live anywhere else.
