(10,302 posts)Harry Reid is a Mormon. My LDS friends are about 3-2 Trumpers. The better educated ones tend toward Democratic politics, or at least Moderate Romney types.

(3,474 posts)In 2016, Utah DID vote for Trump, but not too enthusiastically - more people voted AGAINST Trump than FOR him!
"While Donald Trump won in 2016, he failed to receive a majority of votes, winning 45.5% to 27.5% over Hillary Clinton. Trump enjoyed less support than prior Republicans with the state's large Mormon population. Mormon conservative Evan McMullin provided these voters with an alternative. McMullin received over 21.5% of the vote, the best '3rd party' performance in any single state since Ross Perot in 1992."

(5,409 posts)Mormons around here are lemmings. They vote "R" no matter who....
That's why in CD6 we are stuck with an actual Nazi fascist Andy Biggs. He's voted with Doturd all the time in support of TREASON.
There is a minority of Mormons who don't like Doturd, but the vast majority in Mesa will march off the cliff with him. Guaranteed.
