WASHINGTON Kamala Harris is launching a seven-figure ad blitz about health care targeting Donald Trumps calls to replace the Affordable Care Act with a mystery plan he hasnt yet released.
The ad campaign, first reported by NBC News, is aimed at elevating the issue and capitalizing on what polling says is a weakness for Trump. The new 60-second spot features Trump saying during his face-to-face debate with Harris that he has concepts of a plan to remake the U.S. health care system.
You have no plan, Harris tells Trump in the ad while touting her calls for protecting the ACA (or Obamacare" ) and extending the Biden-Harris policies that expanded subsidies to buy coverage and capped the cost of insulin for seniors at $35 per month.
Her team has argued that Trump would simply eliminate the ACA, which would threaten coverage for the estimated 50 million people covered under the 2010 law by rescinding the subsidies to buy coverage, dismantling the marketplaces for Obamacare plans and undoing rules barring insurers from charging sick people more.

(46,195 posts)At least that's the subliminal they're trying to hoodwink the public with. I still say their whole campaign of lies is PSYOPS to dupe the stupids.

(5,538 posts)seeing Harris ads here in Florida. Haven't seen any for any candidate for President before. They must think there's a chance in Florida. Yea!

(139,302 posts)They raised a shitload of money so they gotta spend it already! It's not like the ad rates are the same as what gets charged during the Super Bowl!

Oh and Kamala, the Border Tsar, let in millions....love to see an ad saying that TFG didn't want the law to fix it - he just wanted an issue to run on.

(139,302 posts)that you are maybe in IL (as a Cubbie fan, although that might not be criteria)?
But if so, you might not be seeing the BILLION ads that we are seeing here in PA (at least what is running here in Philly).
And the ads you describe were made and were even posted on DU.
These two have run quite a bit here (I have seen it on MSNBC when I have it on) -
They intersperse them with and actually run them back-to-back with Bob Casey ads on the same subject.

(2,864 posts)I'm in AZ and haven't seen that one. Harris is supposedly a bit behind in the polls here which is probably why tfg's ads about "illegals" are so prevalent here. Fearmongering: it's all they've got.

(139,302 posts)is that some people all of a sudden "forget", and the media helps by not pointing out, that California IS a "BORDER STATE", so she was the AG of a "border state".
I posted this (obviously a border state) graphic in another thread -
Otay Mesa is a huge border crossing.
They would rather manufacture fake "borders" in inland states like wanting to put a "border wall" in CO.
My very first trip to CA was to Los Angeles and I found myself literally in another world.
