Donald Trump says he will label violence on Tesla dealerships as domestic terrorism

President Donald Trump stated on Tuesday that anyone found vandalizing Teslas or Tesla dealerships around the country would be labeled a domestic terrorists.
As Trump seemingly turned into a spokesperson for the electric car company on Tuesday amid its crashing stock price, he stood beside CEO Elon Musk on the south lawn of The White House and said he would be open to labeling those who attack Tesla dealerships or owners as "domestic terrorists.
"Those people are going to go through a big problem when we catch them. We've got a lot of cameras up, we already know who some of them are. We're going to catch them. And they're bad guys. They're the same guys that screw around with our schools and universities, the same garbage," Trump declared.
Musk, who is categorized as a "special government employee" has led his so-called Department of Government Efficiency in a massive slashing of the federal workforce, which has prompted a swift backlash against Tesla. Everything from falling Tesla stock prices, which have dropped 28% since Trump took office, to owners returning or selling their vehicles or slapping stickers on their Teslas that say "I bought this before Elon went crazy," have contributed to the company's growing public relations problem.
“I think he's been treated very unfairly by a very small group of people,” Trump said. “And I just want people to know that he can't be penalized for being a patriot. And he's a great patriot.”
