ABC Poll shows Obama's approval rebounding
it's always been one of the lower polls and it shows him up to 49% from 42% in October.
I agree with the analysis and think we can thank congress for this fortunate turn. Everyone hates them and rightly so.

The sole goal of the Republican party has been to make Obama a one term President but they didn't count on their own Congressional assholes being so truly unlikable and political suicidal that it might backfire.

Granted they are working hard to create, scam, or creatively acquire other sources of funding to up the ante.
And granted also they are working hard to find ways to smuggle more aces to the game, as well as to hide the fact that their hand of 16 aces(thinking voting machines here) might not be fully legit.
But they cannot, to switch metaphors, pull out all the stops, seeing as they did that years ago.

excerpt: "Gingrich and Romney are each favored by 30 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents. Running behind them is Rep. Ron Paul (Tex.), whose libertarian philosophy has attracted a strong following. He stands at 15 percent, about double his tally in an early November poll. All other active candidates are in the single digits."
