Heavily armed pastor presses Beto O'Rourke on abortion and "great men" who are "the product of rape"
Jon Skolnik - Yesterday 10:33 AM
A Texas man who identified himself as a preacher, armed with a semiautomatic assault rifle and pistol, confronted gubernatorial candidate Beto O'Rourke during a Saturday campaign event and demanded that the Democrat answer whether he "believed in a woman's right to choose," claiming that there are "great" men who are the "product of rape." The man, a self-proclaimed "minister of the gospel," approached O'Rourke in the middle of a town hall in Hemphill, where the preacher berated the candidate with a barrage of questions about abortion and religion. "How do we deal with the murder of the unborn for anything other than to save a woman's life?" the man asked, adding that there are "great men of god who are the product of rape." O'Rourke responded by thanking the man for making the inquiry "in good faith" and argued that they weren't "going to change each other's minds on some of these very basic definitions." "This decision is best made by the woman, who understands better than anyone else the nature of her pregnancy, the complications it might endure, any other issue that is unique and personal and private as her," O'Rourke said, noting that "more rapes committed in this state than any other state of the union." 3. Since good people have been born to women who were raped,
I guess God is okay with rape, right?

11. Read the Bible
Here's a quick rundown of 25 Bible verses on rape
tl;dr -- If it's inside the city limits, you need to kill them both (stoning, natch) cause the victim didn't scream loud enough. If it's outside the city limits, the victim should marry her attacker. Whether that's pro- or anti-rape is a question of how you feel about the institution of marriage |

13. Oh yeah, forgot about the Bible.
Grab something, knock her in the head and drag her off to your cave.

15. I think it's really sweet that God won't let you
treat her as a slave or sell her, at least not sell her for money. Maybe you could trade her for a good camel. Makes God seem kind of sentimental, doesn't it?

5. For each putative "great" "product of rape"
there were millions of innocent victims of violent sexual assault who might have been “great” had they not been traumatized, tortured, and silenced by their ordeals.
They really, really hate women. |

6. I'll bet most products of rape ....
....do not even know they were a product of rape. That is not something that people discuss freely.
And yeah, give me some names. |

9. I wish I could be more like Beto
He and Pete Buttigieg. They are always so calm and in control.
With a guy like that, I fear my temper would get the best of me. That’s why I could never go into politics. I’m afraid I would scalp someone. |

10. Dude needs to work on his "vicar of Christ" routine
It's been awhile since I've read the gospels, but I'm pretty sure I don't remember running across anything like Jesus's Sermon at the Firing Range.
