I wish I had that~

"Oh Sweet Lorraine"

This is a sweet, sweet story about Fred Stobaugh who is 96 years old. He wrote a song for his wife that she'll never get to hear. Lorraine died in April, they had been together for 73 years.

You might be surprised if we told you that his song is in the Top 10 songs on iTunes and he can't even carry a tune, even he admits that.
The song is called "Oh Sweet Lorraine" and this video will make you shed a tear.

"Share" this story as Fred has shared the love of his life with us all.

2. Sort of makes your heart swell up in there, doesn't it?

I envy people who find each other and live a long loving life together. Fred and Lorraine were blessed.
Beautiful story, sheshe2. Thank you for posting it...

5. Why tonight, in particular?

Is WCGreen still hinging in there? Did I miss something? I just signed in a short while ago...

6. Amid all the misery and anger in this world, one marriage, one love like theirs inspires hope in

us all.

Here's to 75 years of marriage. I always say the first 25 years are the hardest. So bear with it you young'uns.

8. I most certainly did watch the whole thing, she.. and

cried all the through.. which made it kind of hard since I was eating a late supper.

Jacob Colban did a magnificent job of singing and writing the music to Fred's Lyrics of Sweet Lorraine.

What a beautiful couple and precious love story.. Fred and Lorraine Stobaugh

To Love, sheshe~

11. Top Ten on Itunes!

Mention anything about their story and I start blubbering again.. it's just such a precious account of their lives.. the way it should be, she.

I literally couldn't get to sleep Saturday night.. I stayed up all night(and yes I was on DU) and went to sleep around 1pm.. for two hours. But, then I slept good Sunday night. That was strange.. I have no idea what's going on with me sometimes.

May you soon get in the Baby Zone, she~ Sweet Dreams

I was crying and eating at the same time because I was so hungry. I almost started choking but I couldn't stop either one.
