1. "Americans think a lot of themselves"
Sounds like the best defense against being mediocre is making ourselves appear better than we are.
Intolerant. Religious. Better than everybody else. Loud, obnoxious. America thinks it is big, big, big. Obese, fat, eat a lot. Easy to manipulate. Dumb, ignorant. |

3. Interesting comments coming from people who wear wooden shoes and
cut their doors in half.

5. i have and i LOVED it!!!
...got pot at Hard Rock café! and the food is DEEEEEEElicious! We watched a crazy man completely disrobe at the train station. The cops circled him and just let him finish...he then put his clothes back on and went on his way and so did the cops. He was black. he would have been shot in America.

6. I saw this about a year ago.
I lived in Amsterdam for a short period of time and wanted to move there....I LOVE IT.
When I originally saw this I agreed with what their so called stereotypes of Americans were and upon a second viewing I still do. |

7. I would agree with some of these, but I think the complaints about the
friendliness being fake are a little harsh. I think most Americans are pretty friendly in general. Like the British man said, he believes it's mostly from the heart.
Of course all of these are just stereotypes and not everyone fits them. I would be interested to hear what their stereotypes are of people from other nations. I have traveled around Europe quite a bit and talked to a lot of Europeans and many of them have very negative stereotypes of people from other European countries, so it's not just us. I completely agree with their view of our government and foreign policy. It's now even worse under Trump. |

8. I think that view might come from the waiters/waitresses in restaurants being overly friendly, where
they are essentially working for the tips.
