(5,094 posts)Republicans are truly showing their crazy or just plain ol cruelty. Pushing to get back to work with no plan to keep people safe. If people die, they just die.
Thanks for revealing what we know already - She offered her constituents to be a control group?? - Working class folks should be sacrificial lambs and go back to work to make them money. If they die, they die. She won't go to the casinos herself but she's pushing for others to do so.

(18,903 posts)she wants the restaurants open, she wants the sports stadiums open, she wants the stores open, she wants the casinos open........but when Anderson says "you want Vegas back in business" she gets all huffy with him and says "he's being an alarmist".
"Social distancing is up to the casinos". How is there going to be social distancing in a casino or a theater?
That woman is nucking futz. Way to go Las Vegas. You elected this nut-ball to represent you?

(45,261 posts)and it's not like the locals are looking for hotel rooms. This is a blatant ploy to stop paying unemployment to the workers with the side effect of mass infections.

(6,703 posts)of "conservative" thinking.
Their scratch pad math tells them that it's not so bad if only 1, 2 or even 3 percent of the population die from this. It's of no concern to them that our already pretty pathetic health care system will collapse into chaos. It certainly doesn't even occur to them how the "preservation of life" concept plays into their "solution". It's as if it's a case of 'apples vs oranges' for these geniuses.
But, you know, hypocritical thinking to support self serving, short sighted, narrow minded, myopic "common sense" is exactly par for the course with these fake people.
Shuddering mightily...
