What is a satellite?
https://www.nasa.gov/audience/forstudents/5-8/features/nasa-knows/what-is-a-satellite-58.html

A satellite is a moon, planet or machine that orbits a planet or star. For example, Earth is a satellite because it orbits the sun. Likewise,
the moon is a satellite because it orbits Earth. Usually, the word "satellite" refers to a machine that is launched into space and moves around Earth or another body in space.

from space.

But then I see it's a small parking lot.

It can be seen from the air; but definitely not from space, especially if we take "space" as beginning at about 100km above sea level (unless one wants to include our satellites with cameras as being able to "see" it, then sure, our earth mapping cameras can see the art).

Nice painting, though.

fee and when I got out there in geosynchronous orbit - I couldn't see it (curiously enough I did see Donnie Trump's fat butt, go figure) and man was I disappointed.

This was a technically difficult work done exceptionally well out of the goodness of the artist and his crew's simple good hearts. Appreciate it for what it is - a marvelously open hearted thank-you to those who take care of us at the risk of their own lives.
