She's always been very humorous and down to earth. She's given to many great causes and stood up for people even when it was not the popular thing to do she tries to make the world a better place.

She sat on a stool with a guitar dressed in jeans and a plaid shirt and sang a sweet song about a dog that she said she wrote when was very young. I'm not into country music but was impressed with her. I still am impressed with her.

If you were going to be interviewed by BW, you should have known there was nothing off limits. She did at times conduct uncomfortable, direct and at times piercing interviews.
Dolly was totally prepared and came across as confident, prepared and nonplussed.

I first saw her when she was just a kid on my Mom's fave, Porter Wagner show.

Just so generous, and totally unpretentious, with great talent.

She was very much a ‘Women's libber’ long before it was fashionable.

She is very grounded.
