(11,882 posts)Now is running a victim pr campaign to use to sell his book with. He's begging voters to help him escape consequences for his actions by voting for tfg and republicans to use for him a pardon, which tfg would do, and to keep him from flipping tfg will promise him anything to keep him quite. His arrest is long overdue. Navarro is crazy imo.

(203,041 posts)When he made that rant in front of reporters after he'd just emerged from jail, he still had no idea of the serious trouble he's in. He can't understand why they went to pick him up - as he was boarding a plane! He still thinks he can defend himself - and inexplicably believes that the majority of Americans that he was addressing agree with him - that they also believe that the election was "stolen" - I think he used the number "74 million" - and that his fellow believers would be willing to buy his book (describing a plot to overthrow the U.S. government!) to help him out! He's in for a rude awakening...

(45,786 posts)I'm an attorney and do a lot of pro bono work for individuals who have no money for justice.
Peter Navarro doesn't appear to be the kind of client who would need my help. For example, I can't believe he doesn't have enough money for a retainer and/or attorneys fees. (As for the latter, if he were to prevail in court, the court could award him attorneys fees from the other side.)

(203,041 posts)He has an advanced degree - in economics. I don't know if he expects to hire representation, but during his post-jail interview he was plugging his book - in which he documented his failed plot to over throw the government - since he's hoping that all "74 million" of his fellow TFG supporters will buy it to help him with his expenses...
