Language lesson of the day: Use the word "anecdote"properly

in a sentence: I almost died from an overdose of religion but fortunately the anecdote was
administered in time.

Some reporter didn't know the meaning of the word and took it to mean that Germany had seized a town or city called "Umbrage".

Any time I need an ecdote, I just run down to the drug store and buy one. Ecdotes don't require a prescription here.
