Guber Burgers (xpost from Cooking Baking)
Guber burgers! Homemade. Tonight.
I am from the small town where these burgers originated in the 1940s. Peanut butter on a burger! If you haven’t ever tried it-make one! Here’s a description of the burger and the drive-in that invented it. https://www.atlasobscura.com/foods/peanut-butter-guberburger Bon Appetite!

1. well I'll be damned....
.... I moved to Sedalia Missouri sometime in the late seventies I believe. Was only there for about 3 month but I remember eating those goober burgers. They were cheap, good, and filled you up, and that was a big plus on my very limited budget. Thanks for the memory.

4. Ok Guber burger...
They were the best thing that happened to me during my short-lived stay in Sedalia. After around two and a half months, I was on the road hitchhiking back to Huntington Beach California. This happened around 1970, I was just out of high school, and very ungrounded. Not long after I got to California I ended up joining the United States Army. Got my timeline screwed. Thought this happened post joining the Army, but actually happened right after high school.
