I won’t even repeat some of the things they said. But they swirl my brain like ear worms.

A mild fat phobia comment when the fat chef at a breakfast cafe who had to bring out our food. My mother said , “He doesn’t smell too bad for a fat person.”

12. THAT was my dad. The weird thing was while he hated blacks and Mexicans as a group - he like 99% ...

percent of them individually, a black guy he especially liked was known by my dad's white friends as the "black Smith brother". When he opened a plant in Houston he forced his bank to make loans, open accounts, cash paychecks for his black and Mexican employees.

But he could at the same same time make hateful remarks about race. Straddling the times?

a fair amount of it, enough to sweep up and starch into a whirl!

Power hair is great to have, sturdy and healthy. It's all in the luck of the genes.
