I remember seeing this live on the Richard Pryor show. It was great!

And you either saw it or you didn't.
It made TV watching kind of intense, because if you missed something like this, you missed it.
Maybe months later there would be a re-run, but maybe that show wouldn't run in the rotation. Or maybe in the summer you'd be off somewhere where you wouldn't see it.
This one - "And the Pips" - was something I used to keep looking for on YouTube once it became the default repository for things like this.
And, yeah, the Richard Pryor Show. What a world.

all of the episodes of that on YouTube too. They were edgy and hysterical!
