I pretty much always have a supply of doxylamine succinate for just those occasions.
That's the antihistamine in the more-expensive sleep aids at the drug store ... Unisom has a formulation with it, CVS and Walgreens also have house-brands with it. Although they all also have one w/the far-inferior sleep inducer diphenhydramine aka Benadryl as the active ingredient. That latter drug is ... unreliable. You take the doxy's, you're going nightie-night. I mean, unless you're on stimulants. Then you need xanax
