Changed the battery in my Galaxy s5 today

I last changed batteries about 2 years ago and the phone has been acting up. I did all of the little tricks, but it was still acting up, so I bought a new battery for it. I got all set up under the vent light in my kitchen. everything on a white plate so I could see all the parts, had the little tool pack ready to use. Ihought I'd watch a video real quick to refresh my memory on the job. Kind of chagrined to see that it was the iPhone that required more work. The Samsung pops out and the new one pops in. Charging now, and I have the afternoon free!

I loved the S5 battery. I bought a spare and a wall charger so that I could always have a charged spare available.

Sad to see this feature lost in later phones.

It's not that hard at all, there are some really good YouTube videos on how to do it, and when I ordered the new battery it came with all the tools to change it out.
$44.95 plus shipping is a buttload better than $700-$900 for a new phone!
