3. What a great movie with an incredible
sound track. I bought that CD twice because people in my family would borrow them forever. Now on my phone. What a great bunch of music.
We buried my best friend just before all this Covid stuff started to get serious. She was an epidemiologist by the way and only 66 years old. We sang the hymn Down to the River to Pray, the whole thing, at her grave site. Made me think of the music. I reminded myself of Keep on the Sunny Side, it was hard to do but that song is just so good. |

4. This is one of my favorite movies... see comment about the song from Wikipedia*...
* Keep on the Sunny Side is a popular American song originally written in 1899 by Ada Blenkhorn (1858–1927) with music by J. Howard Entwisle (1866–1903). The song was popularized in a 1928 recording by the Carter Family. A recording of the song with The Whites was featured in the 2000 movie O Brother, Where Art Thou?.
