Bad dream

Woke up just now, it may not be smart to start posting in the middle of the night,
but it's like I get scared.
Was watching Rachel back about a month ago, when she did the show about the fascist uprising.
She said they come back every 70 years because we forget.
She can be very powerful and what she said stuck with me.

I have over the years worked with and for people who have Bocce Ball games for the young republicans.
Throw dinner parties for the republican congressmen on the yachts. Really nasty crowd.
Talked to these people and considered some as friends, but if they asked, I said I was the most liberal person they knew.

I'm now retired which explains why I've been lurking here for some time. So just after winning this election,
all of these conservative acquaintances are calling me. There seems like an underlying tone to it. As if they are feeling me out
to see where I stand. They are highly privileged and heavily armed, intelligent and educated.

It scares me that they are at this point so far to the right. It's Rush all day and Fox in the evening. They think Hillary runs
the pedofile ring when it's the Boy Scouts and priests abusing kids. One older guy looked me right in the eye and said he
wished that Newt had run for president.
They are real patriots, I fear however that they are fascists. Wish I didn't have weird nightmares.
