Has skin irritation,or oil buildup, body funk, skin infections bathing is nessesary. It soothes thier skin, facilitates healing.

Othello gets a bath every month with a good comb out. I bathe him myself in my kitchen sink and he tolerates it well since he was bathed as a kitten. This is why you should expose your kitten to as many environments and situations and types of food as possible.

They have less fear and anxiety and become more confident and trusting of you if you do this.

after he got into the crawl space and got too dirty to really clean himself. Neither of us enjoyed the experience at all, but I shed more blood than he did.

Since they don't have hair to absorb their body oils, they get sticky and smelly.
